Billiards round-up: Another brilliant break from star man Childs, Cooper and Johnson also on red-hot form

Another huge Rob Childs break lit up Monday night’s Spalding and District Billiards League action.

The O270 handicapper made a 98, 59 and 54 as Crowland beat Donington 5-2.

Pyramid A were the big winners of the week as they beat Long Sutton 7-0 despite breaks of 42 and 29 from Mick Cooper (O190).

Holbeach A also picked up a 5-2 home success over Consti B.

But it was Mick Johnson (O170) who left his mark on the game, making breaks of 68 and 36 as he collected Const’s only frame win.

Elswhere, Gosberton A beat Holbeach B 4.5-2.5 in a game that saw Neil Harvey (R50) make a fine 29 break.
