Cue master Rob Childs was on sensational form in the Spalding and District Billiards League on Monday night as he made two huge century breaks in the same frame for Crowland B.
Childs, who plays off a handicap of O260, reeled off scores of 123 and 122 as he defeated Mark Timms (R10) 200-94.
Those heroics helped his side defeat hosts Long Sutton 5-2, despite Mick Cooper (O190) making breaks of 43 and 41 (unfinished) to win the final frame.
Elsewhere, it was another impressive week for table-topping Holbeach A.
They romped to a 7-0 success at Pyramid B, who Colin Dodd (R30) sealing the whitewash with a 20 break in the final frame.
It was closer between Holbeach B and Pyramid A, with the latter emerging as 5-2 winners.
The frame wins for the Bourne side came from John Clapton (R90) and John Twell (R60), with the latter reeling off a 35 break.
Neil Harvey’s (R50) 24 break was in vain for Holbeach, but he bagged their frame win.
It was also 5-2 as Consti A defeated visitors Gosberton A, with Stewart Davies (R30) making a cool 22 break. He was the sole frame loser, though, with Alan Hansard (R80) and John Bellerby (R100) the victors.
