Big Sutton Bridge Sunday win is off the Hook

A hat-trick from Robert Hook inspired Sutton Bridge Sunday to a huge 10-0 triumph over Mulberry in the Spalding Sunday League.

Hook led the charge with a terrific treble at Memorial Park on Sunday, while Kurt Scott (2), Joseph Sutton (2), Matt Eaton (2) and Jake Lally rounded off the rout.

The impressive victory fires Bridge up to third, while winless Mulberry remain rock bottom.

Punchbowl Panthers slip down to fourth after suffering a 2-1 defeat at Brennans Sports.

Scott Burrell bagged both goals for Brennans at the Castle to keep them sixth.

Elsewhere, two sides toasted their first wins of the season.

Jubilee got off the mark in pretty emphatic fashion as they clobbered Murrow Bell 4-0 at Monkshouse Lane. Leigh Boekestyn, Jamie Cartlidge, Steve Coles and Christopher Taylor bagged the goals for Paul Rudkin’s side, who won at the third time of asking.

Spalding Seas End Wanderers, meanwhile, broke their duck in their sixth game as they edged out Punchbowl Tigers 1-0.

Nicholas Farmer grabbed the only goal of a close game at Wanderers’ Moulton Seas End Playing Field base.
