Big sing in Pinchbeck church for St David’s Day

A singing extravaganza with a Welsh theme will be held in Pinchbeck on Wednesday (March 1) to mark St David’s Day.

Anyone who enjoys a good old-fashioned sing is invited to the Big St David’s Day Sing (7pm start) where the church choir and soloists will be performing.

Pinchbeck singer Jeff Woods (aka ‘Pavanotti), who lived in the Rhondda Valley for many years, said: “There will be lots of well-known, favourite hymns and arias to be enjoyed including songs – from Alleluia to Zulu, Cwm Rhondda to The Green, Green Grass of Home.
“We’ll just be having a good time, sharing a bit of fun and a lot of song. See you there. Diolch Yn Fawr.”

The free event even includes Welsh cakes during the interval.
