Big response to Littlebury event

A medical centre’s community day proved a huge success with hundreds attending.

Holbeach’s Littlebury Medical Centre held the free Community and Health Wellbeing event on Saturday.

One of the big successes was the offer of flu vaccinations, something 107 people took up.

Alongside those, visitors had the chance to meet a wide range of local organisations offering health information, community activities and support services.

The hall was filled with friendly conversations, helpful guidance and a strong sense of community spirit throughout the day.

A spokesman for the team said: “We are so grateful to everyone who joined us – our dedicated staff, the brilliant local groups, and all the residents who came along to support the event. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and so much engagement. Thank you for making it such a success.

“A heartfelt thanks to all who attended and contributed to a truly positive and uplifting community event.”
