Superstar soprano Lesley Garrett is performing a special charity concert in Spalding parish church – and just a few tickets remain.
Lesley, who has family connections to the area, is due to perform as the finale to the week-long MaNiFEST – a musical epiphany event at the town’s St Mary and St Nicolas Church.
Tickets for the event on November 29 have been in big demand and just a few in the £18 price bracket remain.
Proceeds from the event will go to Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Lesley will be accompanied by Iain Farrington and Spalding choir Cantemus.
The MaNiFEST includes:
- Sunday, November 23, 6.30pm: Joint Choirs Choral Evensong
- Monday, November 24, 12.30pm: Schools Concert
- Tuesday, November 25, 7.30pm: The Spalding Folk Club. Tickets £6. Bookable pre-event meal £15 to include performance.
- Wednesday, November 26, 12.30pm. Organ Lollipops. Soup and rolls, cakes and coffee
- Thursday, November 27, 7.30pm. Kirton Brass Band. Tickets £6. Bookable pre-event meal £15 to include performance.
- Friday, November 28, 2.30pm: Patrick Hawes. The composer talks about his new album “Angel”.
