Bid to turn former Long Sutton bank into Domino’s take away

Pizza company Domino’s have submitted an application to turn the former TSB bank in Long Sutton into a takeaway.

The bank closed its West Street branch in the town in March 2021.

Now the fast food chain is looking to open the take away facility there 11am to 11pm every day.

Documents submitted with the application states measures would be taken to ensure those living nearby won’t be subjected to noise or smells.

The documents state: “The proposed change of use will make positive use of a commercial unit within a town centre and support the vitality and viability of the area by reintroducing an active use at the site generating a good level of footfall and providing job opportunities for the local resident.”
