Trumpeter Jay Phelps has put together an all-star line up to re-arrange and perform the wonderful music of Miles Davis spanning over four decades.
Joining Phelps on the front line will be American Alto saxophone star Logan Richardson and British star Soweto Kinch on tenor saxophone.
The rhythm section consists of three of the busiest men in the business, Benet Mclean – piano, Tim Thornton – bass and Shane Forbes – drums.
Phelps has always cited Davis as one of his greatest inspirations and aims to breathe new life into his music with this brand new project.
Definitely a not to be missed show from a hot new band of gentlemen who are all at the forefront of jazz today and leaders in their own right.
