Ben Wilson can win races again after Supersport switch

Ben Wilson makes his return to the British Supersport Championship at this weekend’s opening round at Donington Park.

Having endured a frustrating time in the British Superbike Championship last year, the Kirton race ace is raring to go in a series he’s enjoyed plenty of success in over the past decade.

After taking part in the official test at Donington Park last Thursday, Wilson has now concluded his pre-season testing programme and is confident that his Gearlink Kawasaki machine is one of the fastest bikes on the track and capable of winning races.

The action begins on Saturday, with free practice followed by qualifying and a sprint race on Sunday ahead of the feature race on Easter Monday.

Schedule

Saturday: Free practice (9.35am & 2pm).

Sunday: Qualifying (11.40am); 10-lap sprint race (5.15pm).

Monday: Warm-up (10.07am); 18-lap feature race (3.35pm).
