Bear fundraiser for parade

If you go down to Ayscoughfee on Sunday you’ll find the first official fundraiser for the Spalding Flower Parade 2024.

A Teddy Bear’s Picnic is taking place from 11am to 4pm.
As well as a host of stalls and games there will be entertainment from Holbeach Town Band and the Spalding Ukulele Orchestra.
Entry is free but you must take a bear. There is a prize for the best turned out bear and the prize will be awarded by a celebrity guest dressed as the Queen of Hearts.
Organiser Steve Timewell said that: “If we can raise a lump sum towards the parade and everyone has fun, I will be most pleased.”
The 2023 Flower Parade was a huge success, enjoyed by over 200,000 visitors and Steve promises that next year will be bigger and better.
