Band to bring the proms into village

Gedney Dyke Village Hall is hosting a special Last Night of the Proms with music from the King’s Lynn Town Band and singer Annelli Killen.

The show itself is at 7pm on Saturday, September 13, but everyone is encouraged to book tickets by this Monday (September 8).

They cost £10 and include a light lunch.

The hall will also be playing its part in the Gedney Dyke annual Yard Sale and Scarecrow Festival.

That’s taking place this year on Sunday, September 21 between 10am and 4pm.

Residents are getting involved by creating their scarecrows which will be dotted around the village alongside their stalls.

Maps will be on offer to help direct visitors around.

The hall will be serving refreshments and hosting a car boot sale.

You can book your car boot in for £5 to sell your unwanted items.

To do so contact the hall to reserve your pitch by emailing [email protected]
