Band hits the right note in Whaplode

Santa was the special guest as Whaplode’s Elizabethan Centre was treated to a fine display from Kirton Brass Band last Saturday.

Musical Director, Andy Scott led the band who delivered pitch-perfect renditions of trusted favourites and more contemporary Christmas celebration music.

The evening was introduced by South Holland District Council chairman, Coun Paul Redgate.

Mr Scott said: “We were so pleased to be able to perform for the centre and our keen followers after having to cancel last year.

“Everyone was pleased to see us again and it was great to bring some Christmas joy to Whaplode Drove.”
