Holbeach went back around a hundred years last week to raise money for good causes in the town.
Saturday’s Roaring 20s ball at Holbeach Community Centre was organised by mother and daughter Isobel and Sophie Hutchinson.
Both parish councillors, the pair wanted to put on an event in the town for good local causes.
And £1,000 was raised which could be set for the All Saints’ Church Tower Project to restore the historic building.
Isobel said: “It was a very successful evening and we’re delighted to have raised in the range of £1,000.
“Everybody had a great time and the band Crazy Ape were fantastic, playing for two hours and there was always someone on the dance floor.
“We wanted to put an event like this on Holbeach.
“We’re already planning next year’s event, hopefully on the same weekend in 2021.”
