Bakkavor Boys set for their ‘longest day’

Four friends are taking on the Macmillan Longest Day Golf Challenge at Spalding Golf Club next month.

Daniel Mayfield, Lloyd Spicer, Matthew Cole and Matthew Pilgrim – dubbed The Bakkavor Boys – will take on the mammoth task at the Surfleet course on June 17.

The challenge sees the players complete four rounds of golf in one day – meaning they’ll start at 4am and finish at around 8pm. All four men should rack up around 26 miles as they walk around the course, which is more than 70,000 steps.

Their collective aim is to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. You can visit their page longestdaygolf.macmillan.org.uk/Team/bakkavorboys
