Spalding Air Cadets have landed a cash boost thanks to local firm Bakkavor.
Members of the 1406 (Spalding) squadron of the RAF Air Cadets have been given £3,200 by Bakkavor.
It follows the cadets assisting with car parking at its annual Party in the Park in July.
Flight Lieutenant Marc Fowler, Officer Commanding, said: “I am so grateful for the generosity shown by Bakkavor.
“I cannot thank them enough and the cadets will be thrilled by the opportunities this will give us.”
The donation will help to fund repairs needed on the squadrons minibus and also fund a branded gazebo and stand which will be used for promoting the squadron and recruitment at future events.
Squadron chairman, Lewis Embleton, said: “I am pleased to see a local business supporting their local community.
“Their generous donation will help fund the future growth and development for the squadron.
“We have always had a great working relationship with Bakkavor and I hope it continues.”
