Badges of honour

Over the several decades Tracey Wales has been a leader with 5th Spalding Rainbows she’s overseen thousands of youngsters, but never before has she seen one achieve every single badge available.

That’s what Elizabeth Prots-Hnatyschak has achieved.

She’s now leaving the group and at its most recent meeting was given her gold award alongside Scarlett Hudspeth.

Laura Purvis and Molly White were also presented silver awards and Amelia Hrywka bronze as all five prepared to move up to Brownies.

Tracey said: “They’re all absolutely fantastic.

“Getting every badge is quite an achievement and we’ve had to have a special badge made for Elizabeth.”

Elizabeth Prots-Hnatyschak has so many badges she’s had to get an extra blanket for them.
