Back in the swing as Hovenden House golf day reprised

The relaunch of the Hovenden House golf day was a big success.

More than £1,500 was raised for the Leonard Cheshire Disability home at Fleet.
Ten teams took part and top player was Ivan Forman.

Hovenden Park Golf Club sponsored the event with sole use of the course, West End Garage arranged all the players and teams, and Ivan Forman Painting and Decorating supplied the trophies and prizes.
The holes were also sponsored thanks to support by Hortech Systems, Morriss & Haynes, Brian Ayres Roofing Supplies, Cross Bros, JT Ward Joinery and RJ Electrical.

Joe Paduch, Hovenden’s volunteer and activities co-ordinator, said: “The event was a great success and it raised £1,540 towards residents’ funds at Hovenden House.
“We would also like to thank the staff and volunteers for all their help during the event.”
