Ayscoughfee lights up for new event

Ayscoughfee Enlightenment lit-up the historic hall’s gardens for visitors on Friday and Saturday nights.

The event was a recreation of an 18th century pleasure garden and included light demonstrations, musical performances, fire and art installations, including from Nicki Jarvis and Liz Kelleher.
The event was very well received. One Facebook comment said: “Thank you so much, we thoroughly enjoyed it yesterday.
“The evening was very atmospheric with a lot of beautiful ideas implemented.
“The opera singer, the quartet, the actors, fire show, costumes – all of it was amazing.
“I am not local, Ukrainian, but lived here ten years. This is one of the brightest events I have seen in Spalding.”
