A free family fun day is taking place at Ayscoughfee Gardens in Spalding on Sunday (June 18), as part of The Great Get Together, inspired by the life of late MP Jo Cox.
The event between 11am and 3pm will feature garden games, live music, arts and crafts activities and entertainment. Families are encouraged to bring along a picnic and enjoy the celebrations.
A spokesman for the district council said: “As well as this event, communities are encouraged to get together with their neighbours to share food and celebrate what they hold in common.
“It could be a street party, a shared barbecue, picnic or a bake off, all that matters is people come together to have fun.”
