Awards for unsung heroes

Three “unsung heroes” have been rewarded for their efforts.

District and county councillor Chris Brewis has funded the awards which aim to recognise and reward people who do good acts in the community within The Suttons over a period of time.

Two awards in Sutton Bridge were to Tracey Taylor, who has picked up litter around the parish for a number of years, and to Daniel Baker, who for many years has assisted charity bingos run by Sutton Bridge Fundraisers.

A resident of Long Sutton chose to remain anonymous and has given his award to the air ambulance and Long Sutton in Bloom. He has done a lot for his community over many years.
