Attempted robbery arrest in Spalding

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery in Spalding on Sunday, March 11.

It followed an incident in Station Road, Spalding at around 2.10pm.

A member of the public who witnessed a man police were after head down Station Approach at the time, said:

“Police were threatening to use their Tasers on the man, but at that point he surrendered.”

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police, said: “One man, aged 22, has been arrested on suspicion of attempt robbery following an incident in Station Road, Spalding on Sunday. He has been released under investigation. No one was injured.”
