Arts and crafts society has its Phil

Local artist and regular visitor Phil Biggs gave Spalding Arts and Craft Society his usual excellent painting demonstration at their March meeting.

Working in watercolour Phil produced two paintings, one a pen and wash of Holbeach, the other a watercolour of Mungrisdale in the Lake District.
He kindly donated the finished Lake District painting to help with club fund raising efforts.
The next meeting will be a demonstration in using graphite by artist Hazel Money on Tuesday April 4, 7.30pm to 9pm at Pinchbeck Village Hall on Knight Street.
Entry for members is £3 and for visitors £5, doors open at 7pm.
Painting Together sessions are continuing at Pinchbeck Village Hall, 10am-12 midday, on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
The cost is £4 for members and £5 for visitors.
The society also have an exhibition in Springfields Festival Gardens with a return of ‘Art in the Garden’ launching during April, and another in Spalding Library during May.
