Third man arrested after weapon fired in Long Sutton

TUESDAY, 10AM: A third arrest has been made in connection with the firearms incident in Long Sutton on Sunday.

The 22-year-old local man is being questioned by police this morning, while the two men previously arrested have been bailed until April while investigations continue.

UPDATE Monday 2.25pm: A second arrest has been made in connection with a firearms incident in Long Sutton.

A 21-year-old local man was arrested in Holbeach this afternoon (Monday) and has been taken into custody for questioning.

MONDAY AM: Armed police were called after reports of a weapon being fired in Long Sutton.

Officers were called to Anfield Road on Sunday evening. No one was injured but a window at the address was damaged.

A car which left the area following the incident failed to stop for officers and the occupants fled on foot.  With the assistance of air support, a 25 year-old local man was arrested and the investigation into the incident continues.
