Application for 24hr opening at garage

A garage at the A151/16 ‘McDonald’s’ junction could be allowed to open 24 hours.

Lincs Co-op Petrol Station on Holbeach Road, Spalding, has applied to change the current conditions which limit the opening times to 7am to 9.30pm.
Documents submitted with the application say the reason for it is ‘due to changes and difficulties in delivery slots together with changes in working practices, most notably since the pandemic’.
“It has become clear that there is a need for 24-hour trading on the site together with security,” the documents state.
