Appeal to help find woman missing from Donington

UPDATE: Friday 2pm. Elsie has been found after a search, including assistance from a helicopter, was conducted in Donington.

It is believed the 88-year-old had fallen over but has been checked by ambulance staff and is believed to be OK.

FRIDAY NOON: Police are appealing for help in finding a vulnerable missing woman from Donington.

Elsie Sills is 88 and suffers from dementia. She was reported missing from her home in the Northorpe Road area of Donington this morning at 8.45am but it is possible she left her house on Thursday evening.

Elsie is 5ft 4ins tall, of stocky build and walks with a stoop. She has grey hair and wears glasses and is very hard of hearing.

Elsie may be wearing an olive quilted jacket.

She usually uses a mobility scooter when outside the house but she has not taken it with her.

If anyone has seen Elsie, or has any information that will assist police, please call 101, quoting incident number 80 of April 11.
