Appeal for witnesses after man arrested for dangerous driving around Holbeach and on A17

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw a black Audi A3 seen driving through Holbeach and along the A17 in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail as part of an investigation in to an incident of dangerous driving at around 2am on Saturday, June 27.

Police would like witnesses, particularly those with dash cams who may have passed by the car as it drove along the A151 in Holbeach towards Peppermint Junction.

The car then took the A17 towards Boston before being stopped outside the EMMET factory in Fosdyke.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are investigating an incident of dangerous driving which occurred in the early hours of Saturday 27 June 2020, at around 2am.

“A black Audi A3 was being driven dangerously along the A151 at Holbeach towards Peppermint junction, and then along the A17 from the junction towards Boston.

“The vehicle was stopped by police outside of the EMMET factory.

“The driver, a 27-year-old man, was arrested and later released on bail.

“We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, especially motorists who may have captured dash cam footage.”
