Appeal for Crowland bike theft information

Lincolnshire Police would like to speak to a man who might be able to assist with their investigation into a bike theft in Crowland.

The theft took place just after 5.30pm on August 22, outside Spar on North Street.

A silver Claude Butler bike was stolen.

Inspector Boxall said that while bike theft could be seen by some as a trivial crime, for many people their bicycle is their primary mode of transport and theft has a significant impact on their lives.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to regarding their enquiries.

Inspector Boxall gives the following advice to bike owners: “Please make sure your bikes are locked up and marked up.
