Appeal following suspected arson

A van fire in Spalding is being treated as arson with police releasing a picture of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

The van was severely damaged in the blaze while outside homes on Commercial Road at around 9.30pm on Monday, May 4.

A spokesman from Lincolnshire Police, said: ” Neighbours have reported a bang and seen a van alight.

“We would like to speak to the man pictured and while the image quality is very poor, we are releasing it in the hope it may jog someone’s memory or that the clothing may be recognisable to someone who knows him.”
