Appeal as man air lifted to hospital with serious injury after being hit by car

A pedestrian in his 30s was taken to hospital with a serious injury after being involved in a collision with a vehicle on the A151 last night.

The road remains closed between West Pinchbeck and Twenty this morning after the incident involving a Honda Civic at around 6.15pm last night (Wednesday, January 17).

The air ambulance was in attendance, landing nearby around 7.30pm. A spokesman for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, confirmed one person had been taken to hospital.

“The road was closed at the time and remains closed as the investigation continues,” a spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said. “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam or video footage that will assist our inquiries to get in touch.  Please email [email protected].  Please refer to incident 314 of 17 January.”
