Appeal after theft of Christmas lights in Spalding

Police investigating the theft of Christmas lights from Sainsbury’s in Spalding have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to speak to.

The incident took place at the Holland Market store at approximately at 8.55am on Thursday, November 23.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “The Community Patrol team in Spalding are appealing for your help in assisting them with information relating to a theft-from-store investigation.

“On 23 November, a slim male, aged in their late 20s, described as 5ft 6, with short dark hair and described as wearing white trainers, a dark blue tracksuit top, and bottoms with light blue stripes, has entered a Sainsbury’s store and taken some Christmas lighting.

“We wish to speak to the man in the image as he may be able to help with our enquiries.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and state it is for the attention of PC 618 Edwards, under Incident number 88 of the 23 November.
