Appeal after Land Rover is taken from driveway in early hours

A family are appealing for information after thieves stole a car from the driveway of a West Pinchbeck property.

Criminals cut the floodlights illuminating the driveway to take the X-Tech Limited Edition Land Rover Defender 4×4 vehicle from the property off Beck Bank at around 2am this morning (Monday, March 8).

The vehicle belongs to Dave Rodgers and his daughter Fleur said those responsible did not disable the property’s security cameras which show the stolen vehicle being towed from the driveway by another vehicle.

Items in the vehicle when it was taken include tools, work related equipment and a pair of Oakley sunglasses.

Fleur said of her dad: “He’s very annoyed and upset.

“Our security cameras recorded it. The thieves cut the cable to our flood light but not our cameras. They were in the drive for a good two hours and were in no rush.”

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman, said: “This is incident 41 of March 8. A Land Rover Defender was stolen from a driveway at Beck Bank at around 2am this morning.

“If anyone has any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch via 101 with the reference number..”

Security camera footage of the moment the vehicle was taken.
