Appeal after elderly woman’s purse stolen in Spalding

An elderly woman has had her purse stolen while inside the Card Factory shop in Spalding.

Lincolnshire Police said the purse contained around £600 and “had a police bell on it”.

A police statement said: “We believe the woman’s purse was taken out of her handbag when she was in the shop at around 12.22pm on November 24.

“From leaving the card shop the woman walked to the butchers next door.

“We are appealing for anyone with CCTV in the area to contact us. Anyone with any information in relation to this incident should contact us in one of the following ways.”
