Appeal after daylight sexual assault in Spalding town centre

Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted outside Vine Street public toilets in Spalding earlier this month.

The victim, a women in her 30s, is believed to have been sexually assaulted by a man at around 1pm on Thursday, March 12.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information and are particularly looking to speak to a woman who stopped the attack.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are investigating a sexual assault outside the public toilets in Vine Street, Spalding on 12 March.

“The victim was a woman in her 30s and she is believed to have been sexually assaulted by a man at around 1pm.

“Officers believe a woman may have witnessed what happened and disturbed the assault, and are specifically appealing for her to come forward.

“If this was you, or you also witnessed what happened, please contact us.”
