Anthony’s new role on water

Spalding’s ever-popular water taxi service has appointed a new operations manager.
Now approaching its 12th season, Spalding Water Taxi has taken on Anthony Grunwell – whose role will include spreading the message about what the service offers.
Simon Clarke, of the Spalding Water Taxi company, pictured with Anthony at the Spalding moorings said: “Anthony is well known locally and wider afield and brings with him a wealth of experience in the teaching profession, earned over a number of years on both a national and international stage.
“He is a recognised local showman and is keen to bring his personality, skills and organisational ability to the role.”
Anthony has previously worked for the service as a Water Taxi pilot so comes with an understanding of how the company operates and what it can offer.
Part of his role will be to take the message of what the Water Taxi offers to schools, community groups, local businesses and other organisations who may not be aware of how versatile this service is and what it can do for them.
Please email discoverspalding@btconnect.com with your contact details if you would like Anthony to visit your organisation, to arrange a tour of the boats or to make a booking.
