Another second spot for Caress

For the third time in four events, Adam Caress finished with the second fastest time at the weekly Snowden Field Parkrun in Crowland.

The Halmer Harriers runner completed his 217th Parkrun in 20 minutes, 15 seconds, just six seconds shy of his personal best time. The 5k run was won by Harry Ledger in a PB of 18:56.
PBs were also recorded by Halmer Harriers Rebecca Pearce and Debs Norman, 42nd and 44th respectively in 31:01 and 31:08.
Three of their clubmates took to the Ferry Meadows 5k course in Peterborough. Janet Strickland clocked 29:55 to finish 291st of 526 runners. Kathryn Chapman recorded 58:35 and Jayne Pell 58:41.
Richard Williams was at Wisbech and came 13th of 133 in 22:21.
At Clitheroe Castle in Lancashire, Steve Lane finished 18th of 124 runners in 24:37, while even further north, Simon Eldridge was 73rd of 575 runners in the Falkirk Parkrun in 26:57.
Entries are now closed for Sunday’s West Pinchbeck 10K. The race starts at 10.30am on roads around the village, based at St Bartholomew’s School.
