A regular fundraiser has given another £528.50 to Jerry Green Dogs Rescue by opening her doors for a special event on Sunday, June 4.
Ann Gregory has raised over £33,000 thanks to the event where people were invited to enjoy cakes and a chat at her Boston Road South home in Holbeach.
The £528 doesn’t include that figure, with donations in tins still to be collected.
“We all had an amazing day in every aspect,” she said. “There were lots of visitors, friends and new faces.
“I would like to thank every single person that came and offered us practical help to prepare for Sunday.
“The amazing home made cakes supplied were incredible.
“There are definitely some really special people out there.
“Special thanks go to my right hand man my husband Mac and Dougie Alexander and his wife Ann.
“They are always there to lend a hand when needed.”
