Three siblings and a Fleet philanthropist have helped Holbeach Hospital raise thousands for its summer fayre.
Demi Faulkner, Kirt Powell and Pete Giardelli all took part in a sponsored walk in memory of their mum Mandy Powell who spent her last weeks at the community-run facility.
The ‘Walking Angels’ decided to present the cheque at the summer fayre held on Sunday, August 16.
There was also a donation from Harold Payne, of the Anglian Motel, who gave £1,000.
Business administrator Tracey Harding said: “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and supported our summer fayre. The event was a tremendous success thanks to the generosity and community spirit shown by so many people.
“A special mention must go to our outstanding fundraisers whose remarkable efforts made a significant contribution.
“The Walking Angels’ dedication, enthusiasm and hard work have been truly inspiring, and we are enormously grateful for their generosity.
“Harold also deserves special recognition for his exceptional fundraising efforts.
“His continued support and commitment to our cause are greatly appreciated.
“These extraordinary contributions will make a real difference and reflect the kindness and generosity that make our community so special.
“On behalf of everyone involved, thank you to all who contributed to making this year’s summer fayre such a memorable and successful event. We look forward to seeing you again at future events.”
