Amir adds punch to show

Former world champion boxer Amir Khan has been announced as the special guest as Spalding’s annual boxing show returns with a bang.

The Spalding and District Round Table Premier Boxing Event is back on February 15 for the 26th year having raised over £250,000 for local charities.

There’s a three-course meal and eight amateur boxing fights via the England Police Club’s Boxing Association.

And this year’s special guest has been announced as light-welteweight and former I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star Khan.

The Round Table’s Matt Clark, said: “Having been involved for over ten years now in this event, we are proud to have brought some of the real boxing elite to this event, and to Spalding.

“Amir certainly will be one of the best, especially as he is still active and likely to be involved in a multi-million pound fight before the end of the year, perhaps even against Manny Pacquiao.”)

The event has successfully sold all but one exclusive gold ringside table, with a small number of silver tables and individual tickets available online.
