Air cadet among those donating to Ella’ Project

A Spalding Air Cadet has helped donate 40 face visors to a local group.

As reported in the Voice last week, Keris Moore of the 1406 (Spalding) Squadron has been spending lockdown creating the equipment as part of her Duke of Edinburgh silver award.

The 15-year-old has lost count of how much protective equipment she’s made using her 3D printer but made the latest donation to Ella’s Project to pass on to those in need.

Project co-founder Mark Le Sage, said of Keris: “She is a wonderful, talented young role model who her parents should be very proud of.”

Also this week, Andy Bartlett, of Really Awesome Coffee, provided refreshments while the project donated hand creams funded by Avon’s Louise Neal and Simon Lord, of Lord Collectables, to Spalding fire crews and medical centres, Gosberton, Holbeach, Moulton, Deeping, Munro and Beechfield.

A quantity of made and pre cut scrubs has also been delivered to order to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital by the group.
