A ‘high street champion’ will be the guest speaker at Spalding and District Civic Society’s AGM next week.
Graham Soult, who was recruited by South Holland District Council as a consultant on the town centre, is to deliver a talk entitled Reinventing Spalding Together at the meeting on Tuesday, April 8, at 7.30pm.
A spokesman for the society said: “Graham will be giving a talk entitled “Reinventing Spalding Together” which will provide his insight on how all who have an interest in the future success of the town could work together to achieve the best outcome for its long term future.
“His latest visit to Spalding was during the last three weeks to prepare for his talk by seeing how the town has changed since his previous visit in February 2023.
“The AGM provides an opportunity for people to learn about the work of the Civic Society, ask questions, to suggest ideas and even join our committee and be part of our efforts to encourage and promote Civic Pride in Spalding.”
