Ace Dring hits unbeaten century in Spalding Town Sunday 1st victory

A century from Chris Dring steered Spalding Town Sunday 1st to a six-wicket win over Whittlesey in Rutland League Division Three.

Dring rolled back the years with a magnificent 111 not out to help Town chase down Whittlesey 1st’s 176-6 at the Memorial Field to get their season off to a flying start on Sunday.

Spalding’s reply was all about Dring, as he smashed an unbeaten 111 from just 80 balls with 12 fours and four sixes.
