Accountants take a swing and raise fore!-hundred pounds

Accountants Moore Thompson has managed to raise almost £400 at its Annual Client Golf  Day.

Held at Spalding Golf Club in Surfleet, the event saw more than 40 people attend the fundraising event, which pitted some of the region’s top business owners and professionals against one another.

During the day the firm held a charity raffle to raise funds for Cruse Bereavement Care, a cause close to the heart of Kirsty Holmes, a Paraplanner from MT Financial Management who used their services after her father passed away.

Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and provides support to people who have lost loved ones via therapy.

With a stunning Titleist golf set on offer, many of the players bought tickets for the raffle, helping Kirsty and Moore Thompson to raise £375 for the good cause. The winner of the set of clubs was Jackie Bailey-Scott, Managing Director of Abbey Print.
