Academy leavers go out in style

Spalding Academy leavers have ended the school year in style.

The traditional end of year prom for Year 11 was once again a celebration of all they’ve achieved at the school.
They arrived at Springfields Exhibition Centre last week in a variety of vehicles and dressed to the nines.
A spokesman for the school said: “At this red carpet event, they were able to celebrate together for one last time before they receive their exam results in August.
“The students put a lot of effort and thought into what to wear and they arrived in vehicles including limousines, camper vans, motorbikes, tractors, trucks and even by horse!
“They enjoyed a buffet, awards ceremony and photo booth as well as a disco.
“All of the staff at Spalding Academy and South Lincolnshire Academies Trust wish their students every success in the future and know they will look back at this milestone event with fond memories.”
