Abbey siege is returning

After a break of three years the Siege of Crowland Abbey is back bigger and better with cannon, musket, pike and cavalry to mark the Siege of Crowland Abbey 1643.
The Sealed Knot will be occupying Crowland for the weekend of September 16 and 17 to re-enact this English Civil War event.
The weekend will consist of parades, mock battles, a torch lit parade, a living history camp culminating in a firework display on Saturday night.
The cost for the weekend is £5 for adults, under 16s go free. Wristbands are available from Crowland Abbey.
