The top two teams in Division A of the Hereward Sports Pinchbeck & District Summer Darts League extended their lead.
Lincoln Arms A enjoyed a 23-4 win against Lincoln C to stay on top. Jimmy Tenno starred with 17 and 14-dart legs, including a 180. Paul Blow also had an 18-dart leg in his 3-0 singles win.
Services Club B remain second after a 21-6 win against Consti Club Z. Ady Smith threw a 180 in his pairs game with Steve Rawding for a 15-dart leg in their 3-0 win. Tony Clark also hit a 180 for the Services side.
Green Dragon A continued their resurgence with a 17-10 win against Lincoln Arms D. Sean Trafford hit a 114-checkout and a 17-dart leg. Tim Hester and Simon Horton had an 18-dart leg in their 3-0 pairs win.
Although going down 14-13, Kirton Leisure went back top of Division B but, with Drayman’s Arms B winning 16-11 against Services Club A, they are only three points behind with two games in hand. There was a 16-dart leg for Service’s Dean Murray in his 2-1 singles win against Kev Newton.
There were some twists in the Spalding League. Shock of the night was Consti E beating Division One title chasers Tigers C 5-4. Tigers were 4-2 up but wins for Mark Dixon, Jason Chilvers and captain Paul Merrill turned it round. Kev Aldhouse got a 180 for Tigers as did Craig Woods for Consti E. Jason Chilvers had a 110 check-out and an 18-dart leg.
Leaders Drayman’s Arms remain in the driving seat after a 7-2 win against the Green Dragon. Wins came from Steve Urch, Kev Newton, Phil Newton, Richard Cooper and Josh Grainger. Dragon’s Tim Hester had an 18-dart leg.
Consti A hit back to beat Rose and Crown 5-4. Graham Burgess and Nick Moyses turned things round from 4-3 down. Ian Lawson had an 18-dart leg and Hank Watson a 111 check-out.
Division Two leaders Ye Olde Abbey lost 7-2 to Punchbowl A, despite winning two of the three doubles. Brothers Chris and Simon Fidler had 17-dart legs.
Lincoln A hammered Mail Cart 8-1 with 101 check-outs for Cart’s Steve Rawding and Lincoln’s Luke Rhodes.
Tigers B beat Consti D 7-2, while in Division Three, Ship Long Sutton. Ship remain top after beating HUSC.
