A summer holiday in Spalding

A Spalding church has helped local people ‘Holiday At Home’.

Broad Street Methodist Church put on the sessions for those not able to get away this summer.

Along with a host of games, church members put on a host of crafts for the attendees to try and there was also film screenings, including one of the Cliff Richard film Summer Holiday.

It’s the first time the church has put on such sessions but they proved a hit and were well attended.

Reverend Frances Ballantyne, who oversaw them, said: “Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.”
