A sky-high donation

Spalding Golf Club captain Trevor Thorley has handed over a cheque for £8,326.40 to the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, his chosen charity for 2025.

The impressive total was raised through a year of fundraising events, competitions, raffles and donations from members and guests.

The money will help the ambulance continue its life-saving work across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Thorley said: “The air ambulance is a vital service that any one of us could need. I’m very proud of the generosity and support shown by everyone at the club throughout the year.”
