A right Royal do

Ahead of her own big weekend, Flower Parade Ambassador Star Perry joined the Coronation fun at Ayscoughfee Gardens.

She was with councillors Liz Sneath and Jan Whitbourn, who organised the contest for an Ambassador run by The Voice. Jan was also one of the Coronation Champions in a special seated area outside Buckingham Palace for the event.
Meanwhile, the ‘King’ and ‘Queen’ at St Bartholomew’s School in West Pinchbeck wore recycled outfits in honour of the King’s well-known green values.
At Holbeach Meadows, residents shared memories of the last coronation in 1953.
Children at Ayscoughfee Hall School designed and made a flower out of recycled plastic or material which were crafted into a crown which adorned the school’s porch.

Fishy goings on at St Barthlomew’s
Friends gathered at a party celebrating the coronation at the home of Margaret Cambell to raise money for the Red Cross.
Residents at Holbeach Meadows Care Home were remembering the coronation of the late Queen in 1953.
