A grand boost for Long Sutton Athletic’s youngsters

Long Sutton Athletic have expressed their gratitude to The Freemasons of Saint Mary Lodge.

The group, from the province of Lincolnshire, provided the Magpies with a generous donation of £1,000, which will go towards their junior section.

Presenting the cheque to Sutton chairman Paul Preston at London Road were the worshipful brothers Brian Hind and Dave Pateman.

A Sutton spokesperson said: “Thank you from all of the boys – your generous support is most appreciated.”
