A Design For Live music

Three-days of live music is coming to Peterborough this weekend.

Manic Street Preachers, Simply Red backed by Lisa Stanfield and Ibiza’s legendary Café Mambo are making their way to the city’s Embankment for three nights of top musical entertainment.

Café Mambo Ibiza Classics On The Embankment (June 10) will bring thousands of dance music fans together for an unforgettable experience under the stars as they relive the massive tunes that provided the soundtrack to generations of Ibiza adventures.

The legendary Judge Jules will now join the line up alongside Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Julie Mcknight (Live PA), and Sonique (Live PA). From kickstarting the weekend on BBC Radio 1 with his Saturday Warm Up show, through to his unparalleled ‘Judgement Sundays’ residency in Ibiza, Judge Jules has laid the foundation for international dance music for over 30 years and remains as relevant as ever.

On Saturday, June 11, music fans in their masses will flock to The Embankment to hear one of the UK’s biggest bands, Simply Red, perform a catalogue of unforgettable hits, including ‘Something Got Me Started’, ‘Stars’, ‘Fairground’ and the US no.1 hits, ‘Holding Back The Years’, and ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’.

Mick Hucknall and his band will be joined by very special guest, UK soulful dance diva Lisa Stansfield, and the award-winning saxophonist, YolanDa Brown.

Closing out this special weekend on Sunday, June 12 are Welsh exports, Manic Street Preachers.
